Hello lovely people,

We’re offering up our much-loved 3-room apartment in Kunger Kiez (Alt-Treptow) for a swap — a peaceful green haven just steps away from Treptower Park, Plänterwald, and a short bike ride from Kreuzberg, Neukölln, and Friedrichshain.
The building is under a state-owned company (Gewobag).

The apartment has:
- Two bedrooms (currently set up as a master and a home office/guest room),
- A spacious, light-filled living room with a vintage flair, connected to
- An open-plan kitchen with a central island, big fridge, electric stove, dishwasher — all essential appliances under 3 years old,
- A balcony surrounded by greenery, perfect for morning coffee or evening wine — it overlooks a Naturschutzgebiet, so you sleep with birdsong and wake up with treetops,
- Large windows in every room facing leafy surroundings — no direct street noise, just green and calm,
- A modern bathroom with a bathtub and plenty of storage,
- And a long hallway with space for strollers, bikes, books, and a gallery wall.

Additionally, there's an elevator in the building, each apartment has a clean, dry cellar and an underground parking spot upon request (paid additionally).
We are on the 1st floor. The apartment stays wonderfully warm in winter (floor heating, although we don't use it all through winter - it's that well isolated!) and pleasantly cool in summer.

We’re part of a Gewobag building with a kind and community-oriented atmosphere. The housing company is open to swaps. Our neighbors are friendly and helpful.

Kunger Kiez itself is truly special — it feels like a small village in the middle of the city. It's full of cafés, independent shops, local initiatives, a real sense of community. We’ve truly loved raising our child here, surrounded by trees, playgrounds, and neighbors who say hello.

We’re only moving because our family of three will soon be a family of four, and we're looking for a little more space.

We’re looking for:
A bright 4-room (or large 3-room) apartment/house with a garden or somewhere in nature, can also be in the outskirts of the city!
We’re open-minded and flexible on many fronts — it’s the atmosphere and livability that matter most to us.
